Have you ever played a game where it is really tempting to cheat? It can be hard to make honest decisions, especially if it seems like everyone else is doing whatever they can to get ahead. Cutting corners and bending the truth can help save time and may even help us get ahead, but it can damage our integrity. Big, small, and even seemingly insignificant decisions all matter. In the same way, our choices can affect our integrity. How can we be known as a Born Again Believer who can be trusted when our choices don't match up with who we say we are or what we value? Scripture points out incredible wisdom for us to learn what it means to lead in ways that build trust rather than destroy it. Paul went from someone who persecuted Christians to someone Jesus' followers trusted. In Philippians 4:8–9, Paul asks the Early Church to watch and learn from his life.
