Obadiah Message Series

Obadiah, ever heard of him? Many have not, but he’s there and his message found in the sticky pages of your Bible is a powerful one that you need to hear. Obadiah is the smallest of the Prophetic Books, and the smallest book in the Old Testament, but it’s message is powerful and timely. In a world filled with violence, like ours today; in the face of abortion, genocide, racial injustice, acts of terrorism, and many other species of violence that makes us cry out for justice, Obadiah gives us comfort that God will bring justice to those who target the innocent. God will bring closure and comfort in His time. Obadiah teaches us about God’s long-term plan to bring closure to issues that military and judicial action struggles to accomplish. But it’s also a story of pride and what happens when we think too highly of ourselves and our abilities.
